imPACT Educational Consulting focuses on the elevation of urban girls and girls of color’s voices, on increased connectedness, and developing confidence in girls and young women.  By first conducting a baseline assessment of these measures, imPact supports schools and organizations in strategic planning, developing programming, curating partnerships, and implementing professional development all in service of better outcomes for girls and to foster leadership in all students. Below is a summary of services imPACT is prepared to offer as they align to your organization’s needs.  All of these services can be provided a la cart in a short term contract (6 months or less), or in a tailored program based on the baseline assessment for a long-term contract (1 year or more).

  • Conduct Baseline Assessments (State of the Girl, or Leaders for Our Future) for schools, including (but not limited to):
    • Culture and Climate Walk
    • Classroom Observations
    • Stakeholder Focus Groups
    • Programming/Partnership Audit
  • Plan, Coordinate and Facilitate Programming
    • Mentoring Conferences and Programs (virtual and in-person)
    • Girls Health and Wellness Conferences (virtual and in-person)
    • Public/Private School Partnerships for Academic or Service Programs (virtual and in-person)
    • Professional Development Series on Girls Education for Urban Girls and Girls of Color
    • Girls imPACT Campaigns (lead small group in youth-led action campaign that impacts their school or local community)
    • Student-led Conference Curriculum, Professional Development, and Logistics
  • Collaborate with School/Organization Leadership in Strategic Planning
    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to support girls and foster student voice for all students
    • Develop short and long-term plans to respond to baseline assessments on the State of the Girl and student leadership opportunities
    • Design and support implementation of Student Connectedness and Outreach programming under Virtual Distance Learning

      • Standards-based Grading
      • Understanding by Design/Universal Design for Learning

    • Early Career Teacher Coaching and School Leader Coaching (0-3 years, including but not limited to:)
      • Individualized goal-setting and progress monitoring
      • Periodic Observations
      • Non-evaluative written feedback on all observations using the school’s choice of framework (options include Teach Framework for Effective Teaching, Danielson Framework, School-based form)
      • Summary reports for school leadership
